Overview:
Firbank Grammar School is seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to join our team as the Head of Library and Information Services, managing the operations of our 3 campus libraries.
As a key leader within our school community, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of library management, information literacy, and digital resources to support student learning and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Leadership: Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate library resources and technologies into curriculum planning, ensuring alignment with the Victorian Curriculum and IB PYP frameworks.
Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the three campus libraries, including staffing, budgeting, collection development, and facilities management.
Information Services: Develop and implement information literacy programs for students and teachers, promoting effective use of resources and responsible digital citizenship.
Interaction with School Community: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty, providing training and support for optimal use of library services and resources.
