Firbank Grammar School is looking for an energetic, caring and enthusiastic ELC specialist to work with our amazing team in our Long Day Care program at pur Turner House Campus Brighton.About the role: The role of the Early Learning Centre Long Day Program Coordinator is to plan, prepare, implement and evaluate a developmentally appropriate program for our before school, after school and holiday programs. Supported by a team of professional, caring and enthusiastic early childhood qualified staff, you will overlook the operations and routines of this important part of our Firbank ELC program. It is expected that you will demonstrate effective knowledge of the National Quality Framework and embed this understanding in your practice.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the ELC Long Day Program (incorporating ELC Holiday Program), developing and evaluating the program, and promoting the program to familiesImplement and record an appropriate food program in consultation with the ELC AdministratorCreate a holiday program with incursion sourcing and bookingsActively contribute to the development of a strong, collaborative, and supportive teamEnsure that all regulations and laws are adhered to and documents are filled in accordance to policies and procedures.Be actively involved as part of a collaborative team in assessing the service against the NQS to identify which practices can, or should, be improved uponand included in the service QIPESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSRelevant Early Childhood Education qualification or ACECQA approved Diploma or Certificate III Qualification Current VIT Registration or Working with Children CheckEffective knowledge of the Early Years Learning FrameworkSound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and RegulationsKEY ATTRIBUTESFlexibleWell-presentedAbility to communicate in a professional and courteous mannerEffective organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Demonstrated ability to operate with the utmost integrity at all times This role is a Full Time (48 Weeks per year) position, commencing immediately.About Firbank Grammar SchoolFor more than 110 years Firbank Grammar has been at the forefront of teaching and learning, providing exceptional education and outstanding opportunities to its students.
